Hi, I’m Joe, owner of Cylene’s Takawyaki. Together with my co-founders Arlene and Cyla (yes, that’s where the name Cylene’s came from), we built this company during the pandemic with a dream in our hearts.
Between us, we bring almost 15 years of combined business experience, and over the past 2 years of operations, we have proven that our concept works—not only for us but also for those who share the same dream of starting small.
We wanted to do more than sell food. We dreamed of helping friends find work. We wanted to give ordinary people the chance to invest in something that actually earns. That’s why we established Cylene’s Takawyaki – Takoyaki Ng Bayan.

We aim to open branches inside major malls like SM and Robinsons. Why? Because malls attract huge daily foot traffic, and being inside these malls will bring massive visibility and sales for our brand—and by extension, for every franchisee.
Rolling Takoyaki
We are currently studying the feasibility of launching a Rolling Cart Takoyaki Franchise. This concept will allow franchisees to be more mobile, flexible, and present at events, markets, schools, and busy street corners. It’s a trending and good entry point that gives more people the chance to start small while reaching more customers where they are.
Expanding Through Online Delivery
The world is going digital, and food delivery is now part of everyday life. That’s why we’re working towards being available on Grab, Food Panda, and Lalamove. This means your customers won’t just be walk-ins—they’ll also be people ordering from their homes, offices, and schools.
Strengthening Community Presence
